Allergens can basically be divided into three different categories. Inhalants such as dust, dust mites, pollens, animal dander, and mould spores. Contactants such as chemical, metals and pants. Ingestants such as drugs, foods, additives.

To keep your home as free from dust as possible.you can maintain a clutter free anvironment in order to reduce breeding grounds for mites, use a damp duster to avoid scattering dust, only use curtains that are easy to wash regularly, choose furniture with few dust catching grooves, keep books in glass fronted bookcases where possible. If you have to store them on open shelves, wipe them down often with a damp cloth.

Vacuum often with an approved vacuum cleaner. If you are the sufferer, wear a mouth and nose mask or cover your mouth and nose with a damp cloth while you vacuum. empty the bags of dust carefully. Moreover replace carpets with washable floor surfaces and use washable rugs for warmth underfoot.

Some simple measures to minimize personal discomfort,  like avoid clothes made from fur and wool, shower daily to remove any chemicals that could be a problem, wash your hands regularly, especially after touching animals and plants, avoid touching your ayes, at last don't smoke and keep away from those who do.

The allergy sufferer's bedroom can keep surface as dust free as possible and vacuum thoroughly at least once a week, keep doors and wardrobe cupboards closed all the time to prevent dust circulating. Encase mattresses, innersprung bases and pillows in allergen free coverings and wash these every three months in hot water. You can use synthetic pillows and quilt rather than feather and down, for blankets and bedspreads made from cotton or synthetic fabric, rather than wool, and wash them regularly in hot water.

If you allergic to moulds, always clean bathroom and basements thoroughly  as moulds thrive in these damp areas, keep damp areas ventilated and use a dehumidifier if the natural airflow is inadequate.  Banish your pot plants and dried flowers as they attract mould. Keep checking stored food for mould growth. Don't forget maintain air conditioner to guard againlest mould growth and use a filter to ensure clean airflow.
